JV Football has been cancelled tonight, 9-29-25, by Calhoun County due to a lack of available players. Thank you for supporting our Blue Devils and I will update any further schedule changes as we try to find a replacement game in the future.
Homecoming t-shirts are now on sale!! This year's theme is "A Night in Rio". Shirts can be purchased by scanning the QR code through Go Fan or by visiting the office and paying with a credit or debit card. Sizes S-XL are $15. Sizes 2X, 3X, and 4X are $18. Sales will close on Saturday, October 4, at 11:30 am. Shirts will be ready for pickup on Monday, October 13, at SMHS. The Homecoming game is scheduled for Friday, October 17th, at 7:30 p.m., and the dance will take place on Saturday, October 18th, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

This year’s rivalry game is extra special — fans can show their support in the fight against cancer. Donations will be collected tonight from Benny the Blue Devil or the Frontier Cougar, with proceeds going to help families facing this battle.

PCS Recognizes School Service Personnel Day! Thank you to our hardworking service personnel who serve the children of Pleasants County.
As part of Sandy Hook’s Start with Hello Week, SMHS art classes created uplifting and encouraging notes to spread positivity throughout the school. Students shared heartfelt messages—like “You are loved” and “There is someone in every crowd that will be happy to see you”—to remind their classmates that kindness, connection, and support are always here.
These simple but powerful notes are now displayed in restrooms as well as the locker room. The goal of these messages is to brighten someone’s day and remind us of all that small acts of kindness make a big difference. 🌟
