We have been asked by the WV Department of Education to share the Broadband Enhancement Councils’ Speed Test link. Attention parents: If your student is entering Pre-K, Kindergarten (new enrollees) 2nd, 7th, or 12th grades in the fall, they have certain health requirements that will be due before they can attend (WVCode 16-3-4 and 64CSR95).
Pre-K Requirements:
-A dental exam and Health Check screening (physical well child exam from medical provider)
These exams must have been completed within 1 year prior to enrollment date.
-Hepatitis B- 3 doses
-Dtap 4 doses
-Varicella 1 dose
-IPV 3 doses
-MMR 1 dose
New Enrollees of Kindergarten (those who have not attended Pre-K)
-A dental exam and Health Check screening (physical well child exam from medical provider).
These exams must have been completed within 1 year prior to enrollment date.

St. Marys High School counselors will be available during this week (Aug. 2-6) from 9 AM to 3 PM to meet with students if support is needed.
An appointment does not need to be made. Students simply need to report to the SMHS Office and ask to be seen. Students may also call the school at 304-684-2421 to be connected via phone to the counselors.
West Virginia's newest and most prestigious scholarship - the Underwood-Smith Teaching Scholars Program - helps recent high school graduates pursue rewarding careers as West Virginia teachers in the fields of math, science elementary education or special education. Students can receive up to $10,000 per year to pay for eligible college expenses, including tuition and fees, room and board, and textbooks. Up to 25 new scholars are accepted each year.
