Thursday, November 18 is the Mid-Term for the Second Nine Weeks.
Mid-Term reports will be sent home on Friday, November 19.
The student COVID vaccine clinic has been confirmed for November 29th. Parents have until this Friday at 8am to sign up their child to be vaccinated. If you would like your child to receive the Pfizer COVID vaccine, please fill out this form: https://forms.office.com/r/jVLQNsZ896
If you do not have access to fill out this form online, please contact your child's school for assistance. Signed parental consent will be required for students to receive the vaccine. The consent form (https://5il.co/r9q3) is posted to the Pleasants County Schools website and will also be sent home with your child.

Honoring All Who Served
Schools and Offices will be closed to observe Veterans Day on Thursday, November 11.
This week in math:
Geometry students are exploring transformations in the coordinate plane. They are currently working on understanding rotations about the origin.
Trigonometry/Precalculus students are solidifying their understanding of trigonometric function values. They are using reference angles to find the values of any angle.
Algebra I Honors students are studying linear functions. Using function notation, they are evaluating functions.
College Algebra students are readying themselves for the college class in the spring. They are studying the domain and range of piecewise functions and nonlinear functions.
Pleasants County Schools is currently experiencing issues with our outside phone lines. There is no current ETA on when this will be resolved. If the problem continues into the afternoon, we will post alternate contact numbers that can be called.
Don't forget to "Fall Back" an hour at 2 AM on Sunday, November 7!
Today, the senior members of the football team honored a teacher who has impacted their high school journey by asking them to wear their jersey during the school day.
Tonight, all fall sports seniors will be honored before the football game against Tyler Consolidated.

College Application & Exploration Week is in full swing at SMHS. Take a look at all the wonderful activities, events and celebrations that are happening at St. Marys High School this week!
Day 1: SMHS Class of 2022 students learned about all that WVUP has to offer and applied for fall admission.
Day 2: SMHS Class of 2022 took a trip to WVU to visit the Morgantown campus and learn about continuing their education at WVU.
The staff and students at St. Marys High School would like to extend an invitation to all Veterans to attend the Veterans Assembly on November 10th at 10:00 AM in the gymnasium.
