The 2022 Christmas Cheer Project was sponsored by the SMHS Leo Club and STARS. All elementary school children in Pleasants County were presented a wrapped Christmas gift by a member of the Class of 2023. The senior students were members of Miss Null's College English and College Theatre classes. The following students visited both SMES and BES today with chaperones Susan Travers, Loura Rinard, and Emily Null. The gifts were donated by Dollar General in St. Marys and Garrytt Horner, WVU-P students, as well as purchased by the SMHS Leo Club from a donation by Mr. Aaron Hickman and the St. Marys area Lions Club. The 400+ gifts were wrapped by a volunteer crew led by Betty Smith, Jess Broce, Tammy Maston, Sandy Langford, Jennifer Trunk, Judy Lawhon, and Jennifer Schultz.
