Update: After an earlier phone meeting with the WVSSAC, we are still under a court order by a Wayne county judge to play a play-in game today vs. Tolsia High. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight at Herbert Hoover High. Richard Parsons, the Herbert Hoover AD has made it possible for all fans to purchase their tickets electronically at the gate using a QR code upon arrival. This will help avoid needing to seek any refunds. Also, please be aware that the football playoff decisions are being reviewed by the WV Supreme Court of Appeals and a decision may come at any time that may change the status of the game this evening. The SMHS Football team is scheduled to play Tolsia in football tomorrow at Herbert Hoover High at 7 p.m. The WVSSAC is currently awaiting a decision before the Supreme Court of Appeals. Ticket links will be provided tomorrow from the WVSSAC, unless there is a decision otherwise. We will update all Blue Devils fans once we know more tomorrow. Thank you.

I would suggest the YouTube feed, in case the Facebook feed gets shut down for copyright infringement for the music. They told me YouTube would not get shut down, but Facebook might. Due to recent changes by the WVSSAC to postpone the Class A volleyball tournament until further notice; the PEP buses scheduled for Tuesday Nov. 12th have been cancelled until a new date is determined. UPDATE- VOLLEYBALL PEP BUS!!!
Students who are signed up for the Pep Bus on Tuesday, Nov. 12th will need to be at SMHS by 7:30 a.m. !!! This is a change from the 8:00 a.m. departure time previously announced. This will allow time to purchase tickets and prepare for the morning game. Students should purchase a ticket online or bring $7.00 for a ticket at the gate. Students will also need to bring money for lunch. The bus will return in time for afternoon dismissal.

The St. Marys High School Local School Improvement Council will meet on Nov. 13th at 4:00 p.m. in the school library. We will conduct two meetings. We will begin with Business Meeting #2 and then following this, we will conduct the Stakeholder Report Meeting on this date. All community and other stakeholders are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Big day for SMHS sports: The SMHS Boys' Cross Country team earned the Class A State Championship today, the SMHS Girls' Cross Country team earned Class A State Runner-Up and our Lady Devils volleyball team played in their first Regional tournament in 29 years. We have a PARADE to welcome the cross country team home starting at the Bull Creek bridge approximately 9:30 pm. St. Marys--- let's line the roads and welcome home our running State champions and State runner up teams! Congratulations teams and coaches!

This is a reminder that the PSAT will be held tomorrow, Oct. 29th at SMHS for all students in grades 9, 10, and 11. Please be to school on time with a fully charged i-pad to complete the assessment!
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held at SMHS on Oct. 29th from 4:15- 7:45 p.m. There are appointment times available! We will also be holding a Parent Resource Fair that evening. There will be several vendors present for community resources and students will receive their school picture I.D. cards! All SMHS family members are welcome!
SMHS Homecoming dance tonight at 7 p.m sponsored by the Student Council. Tickets are $7.00 at the gate, debit card purchase will be available (a $1.00 GoFan fee will be added).
