
WVSSAC Girls' Basketball State Semi-final tickets for tomorrow morning's 11:15 a.m. game at the Civic Center are still available in the office at SMHS. We currently have 63 tickets left for sale to the public. We will be open until we sell out or 7:30 p.m., whichever comes first. The tickets are $8.00, the tickets at the coliseum are $11.00 or $13.00 depending on seating. Please come get your tickets before they are gone.

Yesterday our Girls Basketball Team got to spend time with US Senator (and former Governor) Jim Justice, his wife Cathy, and of course the most famous dog in WV- Babydog!

Congratulations to the Lady Devil Basketball team on their quarterfinal win today over Ritchie Co. The girls' will play Thursday, March 13th at 11:15 a.m. at the Charleston Civic Center against Charleston Catholic in the state semi-finals. We will again have pep bus sign ups in the office at SMHS on Wednesday. We will also have tickets for sale again tomorrow. Tickets are $8.00, we have a limit of 300 available for pre-sale. Students may begin getting their tickets in the morning; preference will go to students riding a pep bus. Please have the correct change. We will have tickets available to the general public from 9 am until 7:30 pm tomorrow evening in the office at SMHS or until we run out of tickets. Pep bus information will be updated tomorrow. The pep buses are scheduled to depart at 8:30 am and return in time for students to ride their own bus route in the evening. Any questions call Howard Meeks, AD, 684-3272.

Schedule change: The SMHS Softball Scrimmage vs Frontier, OH has been moved from Tuesday March 11th to tomorrow, Wednesday March 12th at 5:30 pm. The softball team is excited to support the Lady Devils basketball team today and hope to see you all tomorrow as our 2024 Class A State Champion Softball team begins the 2025 season.

Reminder to ALL FANS going to the Civic Center today to support your Lady Devils. The Coliseum has a CLEAR BAG ONLY policy. Small, very small purses are allowed, but a clear bag is still recommended. Diaper bags are allowed but will be thoroughly searched. NO BAGS other than clear bags will be permitted through the gates. All fans will pass through metal detectors, so no knives of any kind, including small pocket knives will be allowed. One last reminder, only appropriate small hand held signs in the cheering sections and NO ARTIFICIAL noise makers of any kind. Thank you and have a safe travel to the game.

Girls' Basketball State Tournament ticket sales information reminder: WE ARE HERE SELLING TICKETS UNTIL 7 PM IN THE OFFICE AT SMHS. Tickets for Tuesday's Girls' quarterfinal game in Charleston are $8.00 each. We will NOT be selling tickets throughout the school day tomorrow. ONLY SMHS students will be able to purchase tickets in the morning or during their lunch periods tomorrow. Girls' Basketball State Tournament ticket sales information. Each school was allotted 300 tickets today to pre-sell for our Tuesday session. There are no longer adult or student tickets. All tickets are $8 if purchased in advance. They will be $10 general admission or $12 reserved seating through the box office in Charleston with the additional Ticketmaster fees, if purchased online or at the Civic Center box office . We have arranged to have ticket sellers TODAY from 4pm-7 pm at the high school main office. We will also have limited tickets for pep bus students/chaperones tomorrow held back. If there are additional tickets left, we will make another announcement tomorrow, if we are able to sell to the public after school . The St. Marys Lady Devils will play Ritchie Co. at 1 pm on Tuesday at the Charleston Civic Center. Get your tickets today!

The Lady Devils Girls' Basketball team will compete at the WVSSAC state tournament on Tuesday March 11th at 1 pm vs Ritchie Co. at the Civic Center Coliseum. Pep bus sign ups are in the office at SMHS for high school students only. Ticket sales will be available to the general public for the game as well. Mr. Meeks, athletic director, will attend a WVSSAC meeting on Sunday morning and will send out more information early Sunday afternoon about ticket sales. It is our understanding that 300 tickets will be available for SMHS to sell to our fans. Student tickets for the pep bus will be $8.00, please send correct change or a check made out to SMHS with your student on Monday for any student ticket purchases. This is a WVSSAC event and there are NO CASH sales. You can purchase tickets at the gate.
