Congratulations to the Vistra Pleasants Power Plant Student of the Month for September, Troy Strause! The Vistra Pleasants Power Plant Student of the Month is selected based on qualities that epitomize a Minutemen. Some qualities include: responsible, dependable, caring, kind, and a good attitude!

Mr. McCoy and Mr. Bunch's STEAM class are using AutoCad to draft a figure to 3D print.

PCMS welcomed Tas Cru and Mary Ann Casale on Friday to showcase and teach students about the origins of Blues Roots Music. This event was sponsored by the Mid-Ohio Valley Blues, Jazz, & Folk Music Society.

PCMS recognized students with The Pizza Station that scored mastery on their beginning of year state assessment in ELA! Way to go students! 📚🎉

Congratulations to our 100% Club winners on pepperoni roll day! Students that get a 100% on a test or quiz enter their name into a drawing to win a large pepperoni roll on pepperoni roll day. Four winners are drawn each month!

🏫Schools/ Offices will be open ✅ on 10/14/2024. This is a reminder that Monday, October 14 (Columbus Day) is a normal instructional day of school ✏️📚 for staff and students.

PCMS 5th & 6th grade students are taking orders again this year for the Country Meats fundraiser. Proceeds will go into each class account. See a student, or contact the PCMS office at (304)299-5275 to order!

Students in Ms. Binegar's class create a sunflower project inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's famous sunflower paintings.

PCMS welcomed Workforce Development Board MOV to do VR Career Exploration programming with Mrs. Sandy's 7th and 8th grade classes.

Reminder - The Annual PCMS Pumpkin Drop will be on Friday, November 1st at 1:10 PM. * Students must sign-up in the office by Monday, October 21st if they wish to participate. * Teams must have their completed project submitted to the office by Wednesday, October 30th. *If you would like to volunteer to be a judge, please contact the PCMS Office by Wednesday, October 30th. Volunteers have to have a completed and approved volunteer commitment agreement. A big thank you to Vistra Pleasants Power Plant for sponsoring the PCMS Pumpkin Drop!
