Discovery World's mobile STEAM lab arrived Oct. 14 at BES. Students were excited and fascinated to realize they could program little robots!
BES students had the opportunity to explore The West Virginia Soil Tunnel Trailer.
On October 10, The Soil Tunnel Trailer exhibit allowed students to experience real-world examples of underground organisms. The displays helped to explain the importance of healthy soil and conservation.

World Teacher Day- October 5
‼️Attention 🟡🔵BES & 🔵🟡 SMES Families: All families that register for Parent/Teacher Conferences in October will be entered into a drawing to win a tote of Family Activities from #WVDE Engaging Families WV Program. ✅ One winner from each school. ✅ The winning family will take home their tote the night of the conferences. 🥇 Must register and attend conferences to win. 📸 Winning family must agree to have their photo taken. 👩🏫 Principals will contact winners!
