As a precaution, we are not conducting outdoor activities and other additional safety measures are now in place.
If you see something on social media (including Snapchat) do not re-share it, instead, report it to law enforcement immediately. If it is on Snapchat, please report the username of the source.

This is a reminder that Lifetouch will be taking 'Fall Pictures' at SMES on Tuesday, September 10. The preferred method of ordering student pictures is online by going to mylItetouch.com and entering SMES School code: EVTF8TKPK. If pictures are ordered online there is no need to return the picture packet.
Also, the SMES PTO would like to remind parents and students the SMES Spirit T-Shirt sell will end on Wednesday, September 11. Please send your T-Shirt order to school ASAP. Staff and students will wear the school t-shirts on Fridays. The SMES PTO appreciates your continued support.

SMES first Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) organizational meeting (election of officers) and the first business meeting have been scheduled for Thursday, September 12 at 4:00 p.m. in the Counselors Office. All stakeholders are invited and encouraged to attend!
If you are a parent/guardian and interested in being a member of the LSIC please complete the nomination form that was sent home with students on September 9. Please return the nomination form to the school by Wednesday, September 11. We will elect all new members on September 12.
On Tuesday, September 10, 2024 students currently in Grades 4-9 will receive a document on blue paper that contains the information needed for parents/ guardians to access their student’s Spring 2024 GSA Results.

Lifetouch will be taking fall pictures at SMES on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Pictures can be ordered on line at mylifetouch.com with your students ID (student number) or SMES picture day ID: EVTF8TKPK. Ordering on line is the preferred method for purchasing pictures. If you purchase pictures on line, there is no need to return the picture packet on picture day.
Paper orders: Please complete the picture packet form and return it to school on or before Tuesday, September 10.
